Recently started playing but now I've switched to windows, does anyone know how to use the save file in a later version to a more recent one? Had a lot of progress and don't wanna start all over again

I was wondering if anyone knows how to get the "New Road" quest? Honestly I just want to fill up my map while waiting for the next update, but the thing is that I had already gone to bareshade with Ste and his family (before doing the quest where Logan and some townsfolk were working on a forest path to connect farmstead). 

Do I need to restart and wait to finish the country roads quest first? 

I unfortunately don't have the money to join Patreon, but honestly from what I've seen/heard in some of the patron's reviews??

I'm hella stoked for this new update! UI updates take a lot of time and effort, and man, I can't wait to finally download and play it so I can see all the items myself! :3

Wait, was the post about us needing to start from scratch once the 0.30 update comes just a April Fools joke? I tried looking to see what would be involved in the next update, but I can't find the post ;;;

Also I absolutely love this game! I play on both Android and PC, and god, it... it's so fucking amazing.
